I like this item, but I wish the flange was larger and the screw hole spots were farther from the actual opening. If you use a 6" hole saw you will have to be very very careful when aligning and screwing in as there is little room for the screws at that point. Also because the item flares outward, it is hard to get a straight shot at screws when attaching you have to run at a slight angle with your driver/drill.
I needed to ventilate my cooler but couldn’t use my window due to air blowing back in to my room. This adapter does the job well and was easy to install. No more dust and hot air blowing back into my room.
